Welcome to Bursa and the second on site transnational meeting!
The purpose of this meeting is to facilitate knowledge exchange within the project and focus on important and current topics. We aim to strengthen our collaboration, get to know each other better, and deepen the work within each work package. During the meeting, we will work on ongoing and upcoming activities and events. Additionally, we will address key topics such as finances, monitoring and evaluation, and major upcoming milestones within the project.
A detailed agenda will be sent out as we get closer to the meeting. Please note that you can only register 2 participants per partner and that you have to register before 11th of April
5th May Monday (travel in)
Please note that from the moment you arrive at Istanbul Airport, it takes approximately 3-4 hours to travel to Bursa by bus and it takes 2-3 hours from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Bursa. Please take this into consideration when planning your trip.
6th May Tuesday
The first conference day runs from 09:00 to 17:00, starting with a morning bus transfer to Coşkunöz Education Foundation for a guided tour and presentation. The day includes key project updates, discussions led by the WPL, and workshops to advance ongoing activities. A lunch break provides time to recharge before afternoon sessions continue.
The formal program ends at 17:00, and we will gather for dinner at 19:30, offering a great opportunity for informal discussions and networking.
Transport will be provided by CEF for the whole day.
7th May Wednesday
The second day begins at 09:00 with a technical tour of either Coşkunöz Kalıp Makina Factory or a Battery Factory, providing valuable industry insights. This is followed by presentations from industry representatives, who will share the latest trends and developments in the sector.
The WPL will then lead discussions on key agenda items before we break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will wrap up the conference with reflections and key takeaways.
The day concludes with a guided tour of Bursa (15:00-18:00). Ancient Silk Road End-Point and Old City Tour.
Transportation will be provided by CKM for the whole day.
