The Voltage partners of Germany are Technische Akademie Schwäbisch Gmünd (VET provider) and e-mobil BW (industry representative). Each partner brings unique expertise, competences, and experience that collectively contribute to the project’s objectives and outcomes.

e-mobil BW is the State Agency for New Mobility Solutions and Automotive in Baden-Württemberg, a region in the South-West of Germany. With companies like Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Bosch etc. the region has a long automotive tradition and is currently in the middle of a transition phase towards new mobility including electrification, automation, and digitalization.
e-mobil BW focuses on the following strategic tasks with the aim to support the companies and research organizations in Baden-Württemberg during this transition process:
- Research, development and industrialization of new mobility solutions
- Market launch and application of new mobility solutions
- Support in the energy transformation and sector coupling (integrated energy)
- Strengthening the economic and scientific competence as industrial site plus internationalization
- Communication and Knowledge-transfer
- Framework setting, social environment and education and training together with VET providers and academia
- Supporting the Strategic Dialogue for the Automotive Sector in Baden-Württemberg
e-mobil BW has successfully participated in regional and national funding projects, on EU-level VOLTAGE is our first project.

Non-profit organization for technology-based knowledge transfer
The Technical Academy for Vocational Training Schwäbisch Gmünd e. V. was founded in 1987 as a non-profit organization and since then has seen itself as an innovative educational institution with a focus on the industrial-technical sector, as a knowledge platform and technology provider, as well as a driving force for the regional economy.
Various projects promote interest in technology and support qualification measures in new, promising fields of technology such as battery technology and electromobility.
- Our mission: practical, individual and future-oriented qualification programs that are aligned with the regional economic structure
- Successful implementation of a total of 25 projects at state and federal level
- One of the partners in the QualiBatt BW project – a project at state level that provides further training for specialists throughout the battery value chain
