Hands-on Voltage Workshop Boosts Teachers

As part of a regional teacher training day hosted by Teknikcollege Göteborgsregionen on 28 October, Voltage Ambassadors Sara Johannesson, Bert-Ola Frenliden and Theres Saad delivered a well-attended and energising workshop at Battery Centre Gothenburg.

The session offered vocational teachers in technology and science programmes a hands-on deep dive into battery chemistry and function, with a focus on redox reactions, practical classroom experiments, and the broader context of batteries in the green transition.

Drawing on experiences from the Train-the-Trainer event held in Gothenburg in June, the workshop provided participants with ready-to-use tools and inspiration to integrate battery-related content into their teaching – in ways that are relevant, engaging, and easy to implement.

The activity reflects Voltage’s commitment to strengthening teacher competence and bridging the gap between vocational education and future industry needs, especially in fast-growing sectors like battery technology.
