Teachers Gear Up for Train-the-Trainer Program
To prepare for their role as trainers in the upcoming Train-the-Trainer program on Cell Manufacturing and Battery Integration, 13 teachers from Voltage Project partners participated in a preparatory workshop at the Battery Innovation Centre in Brussels. Hosted by MOBI Electromobility Research Centre, the workshop provided hands-on insights into battery production, including facility tours, expert-led seminars, and prototype demonstrations, equipping participants with essential knowledge ahead of the June 2025 training in Gothenburg.
On the 11th of February, a group of 13 teachers from the Voltage Project partners participated in the preparatory workshop to support Trainers ahead of their participation in the Train-the-Trainer program on Cell Manufacturing and Battery Integration in Gothenburg in June 2025.
This workshop, hosted by the Battery Innovation Centre at MOBI Electromobility Research Centre in Brussels (one of Voltage Associated Partners) ensures that participants are familiarized with the terms, concepts, and processes used in battery production, to make the most of the upcoming train-the-trainer program and confidently step into their roles as trainers.
The workshop started with a visit to the facilities led by Dr. Joris de Hoog, focusing on the testing equipment of cells, modules and packs. The participants had then the opportunity to hear from Prof.
Dr. Maitane Berecibar, head of the Centre, its main research and development activities on energy storage systems for traction and stationary applications and attend a seminar on Lithium-ion batteries and Manufacturing by Dr. Burak Dermenci, followed by a demonstration on prototype manufacturing of a coin cell, by Emre Güney, which included a visit to a dry room.
